Armenian Apostolic Church supports peace initiatives of Astana

Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Armenia Bolat Imanbayev met with the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II, El.kz cites MFA.

During the conversation, the Armenian side was informed about the modern development of Kazakhstan and the current state of bilateral relations.

In turn, the Supreme Patriarch highly appreciated Kazakhstan’s efforts to establish and strengthen the global dialogue between religions and peoples, expressing support for the peace initiatives of Astana.

The Ambassador of Kazakhstan, noting the active participation of the Armenian Apostolic Church in the work of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions and contribution to its development, conveyed the invitation of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to participate in the VIII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, dedicated to the topic “Dialogue of Religions: Synergy for the Future”, which will be held held in September 2025 in Astana.
