Almaty Industrial Zone joined UN Global Compact

The industrial zone of Almaty has joined the UN Global Compact, becoming the first industrial zone in Kazakhstan to join this initiative, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the akim of Almaty.

“The Company is committed to complying with the principles of sustainable development in the field of human rights, environmental protection, labor relations and the fight against corruption. Joining the UN Global Compact will allow the company to make its activities public and transparent, while receiving a number of practical benefits, such as access to conceptual developments and the exchange of innovative methods, the press service reports.
