Artificial intelligence for automated legal aid is being created in Kazakhstan, which will be integrated into the e–Zan Komegi mobile application, El.kz reports with reference to Regional Communication Service of Almaty.

The project is being implemented within the framework of the Digital Justice program, aimed at improving the availability and quality of legal services. The Ministry of Justice is actively introducing digital technologies in the field of jurisprudence, including the creation of a unified information system "e–Zan Komegi", which unites 1949 lawyers and legal consultants.

From 2023 to 2024, 88,738 cases were processed through the platform, and the number of users reached 6749 people.

One of the key innovations was the introduction of the "Video Call" function, which allows you to receive legal advice 24/7 in real time.

In addition, a chatbot with elements of artificial intelligence is being tested, which will be able to analyze legal requests and provide personalized recommendations.

"The Ministry of Justice has created a working group with the participation of leading IT companies and universities that are developing digital platforms for the provision of legal services," said Balaim Kesebayeva, head of the Department of Justice.
