The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan plans to approve eight new professional holidays. The corresponding draft order of the head of the department has been prepared and posted on the Open Regulatory Acts portal, El.kz reports.
In particular, it is planned to supplement the list of professional holidays:
- Workers' Day in the field of public services – April 7;
- Housing and Utilities Workers' Day – April 16;
- Metrology Worker's Day – May 20;
- Veterinarian's Day – 10 July;
- Hunting Farm Worker's Day – the first Saturday of September;
- Day of Higher Education Workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan – October 1;
- Standardization Worker's Day – 14 October;
- Anti-Corruption Service Day – November 18.
"Proposals for the introduction of new professional holidays were initiated by the authorized state bodies of the relevant spheres of activity," the report says.
