7 thousand historical documents were returned to Kazakhstan from abroad in 2022. This was announced at an expanded meeting of the board on culture, archives and publishing by the Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askhat Oralov, El.kz reports.

"Securities contain information about the history of our country, domestic historians and scientists are now working with them. The documents were brought from European Union countries such as Hungary, Germany, Italy and others," he said.

The minister noted that thanks to the work of the Ministry of Culture and Sports, 18 archaeological studies were carried out and 30 monuments were restored in various regions of the country.
