Dollar exchange rate on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) on November 18, 2024 amounted to 495.95 tenge, El.kz reports .
Earlier, the Head of the National Bank Timur Suleimenov commenting on the growth of the dollar, stressed that in a free market it is impossible to promise a certain rate. He noted that 500 tenge is more of a "psychological mark" and urged to focus on fundamental economic factors.
"We see that this is due to the implementation of investment projects, which are often financed from budget funds, or funds from the base of state organizations," he explained.
