An unusual concert DOMBRAsadors Live will take place on December 4 at the Astana Opera at the Kulyash Baiseitova Chamber Hall, El.kz cites astanaopera.kz.
Its singularity lies in the fact that this evening ambassadors of foreign states to the Republic of Kazakhstan and opera house’s artists will perform in front of the audience. They will create an exciting atmosphere of creative unity and cultural diversity. All proceeds from ticket sales will go to charity.
The concert will acquire its unique character thanks to the harmonious combination of vocal and instrumental performances, including the magic of the dombyra. The Astana Opera’s General Director, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Galym Akhmedyarov, will play this instrument. There is no doubt that the audience will experience real joy and be inspired by the artists’ skill.
The Astana Opera’s General Director Galym Akhmedyarov emphasized the great importance of this musical initiative.
“This concert will not only be a creative celebration, but also a unique event demonstrating the power of art that unites people through the language of music. Participation of ambassadors of foreign countries will give the event a special international character and strengthen cultural ties between our countries. It is also important to note that art in this musical evening serves as a means to achieve charitable goals,” the general director said.
Thus, among the performers are: Ambassador of Portugal to the Republic of Kazakhstan Maria de Fátima Mendes (vocals), Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain D. Jorge Urbiola López de Montenegro (accordion), Deputy Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Nout van Woudenberg (piano), Counselor of the Embassy of Germany Mechthild Sasse (cello), Ambassador of Kazakhstan and former Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, composer Konstantin Zhigalov (vocals), Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, the opera house’s General Director Galym Akhmedyarov (dombyra), representative of the Turkish Embassy Erkin Semih Öztürk (bağlama, vocals) and others.
The program includes works in various genres: from the Turkish folk song “Bülbülüm Altın Kafeste” to the legendary tango “La Cumparsita”. An unusual musical cocktail of vocal compositions such as “Fly Me to the Moon”, a Portuguese folk song, and even electronic music performed by Philip Sand will create a unique atmosphere of the evening.
Particularly noteworthy is the symbolic work of the Ambassador of Kazakhstan and composer Konstantin Zhigalov – “Rainbow”, which promises to become a bright musical bridge between different cultures.
