The Head of State visited the HIVA GILAMLARI carpet weaving factory, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of Akorda.
During a working visit to Khiva, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with one of the enterprises of Uzbekistan - the HIVA GILAMLARI carpet weaving factory.
The company, founded in 1977, has been completely reconstructed and modernized by a new investor. There are 4 workshops with a total production capacity of 4.2 million square meters of carpets per year.
According to the director of the enterprise, Kamol Abdullayev, the carpets produced at the factory are supplied both to the domestic market and to the CIS countries, as well as China and the United States.
