The Head of State heard a report on the state of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan and set tasks for the Ministry of Defense, El.kz reports citing Akorda.
The President – Supreme Commander-in Chief of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a working meeting with Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhaksylykov Ruslan.
The minister reported on the main results of work in 2024, the state of the army's combat readiness and new approaches to the training of troops.
The issue of the implementation of the state defense order, the development of military infrastructure, social and ideological work in the army was also touched upon.
Following the meeting, the Head of State gave a number of instructions aimed at increasing the combat potential of the Armed Forces.
Particular attention was paid to the digitalization of management processes, the development of the Special Operations Forces and the strengthening of social support for military personnel.
