Tokayev receives Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Tamara Duisenova, El.kz cites Akorda.

The Head of State was presented with new approaches to financing the social sphere, aimed at strengthening the targeting and ensuring transparency in the provision of state support, as well as the rational use of budget funds. Tamara Duisenova said that 14.5 trillion tenge was allocated for the social sphere, which is 60% of the total state budget.   

The President was informed that the services provided through the Digital Family Card are personalized and are provided to citizens depending on their social categories.

As the Deputy Prime Minister noted, the current level of digitalization of the social sphere makes it possible not only to identify recipients and the volume of services provided to them, but also to adjust the structure of state support. For families in difficult life situations, optimal and effective assistance measures will be developed.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was informed about the actions taken by the Government to improve the quality of education, provide medical services, build social facilities and support the rural population.

The Head of State, stressing the importance of the measures taken, approved the proposed approaches. He also instructed to continue work in this direction.
