Tokayev receives credentials from newly appointed ambassadors of seven states

The ceremony of presenting credential letters to the President of Kazakhstan by the newly appointed Ambassadors of seven states held at the Akorda presidential palace,El.kz reports citing the press service of Aqorda.

The credentials were presented by Alexei Bogdanov (Belarus),Piyapin Niyomrerks (Thailand), Stefan Gorda (Moldova),U Thit Linn Ohn (Myanmar),Peter Mutuku Mathuki (Kenya), Blerta Kadzadej (Albania), Antonello De Riu (Italy).

During the meeting, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated the ambassadors on the beginning of their diplomatic mission in Kazakhstan and expressed confidence that their work will contribute to deepening bilateral cooperation in various fields - from trade and investment to education and culture.

The President noted that Kazakhstan adheres to peace-loving foreign policy based on the principles of respect, mutual trust and international law.

"Our approach in international affairs is dialogue, cooperation and respect for the UN Charter. We are ready for new initiatives that strengthen mutual understanding between states," Tokayev stressed.

The Head of State also assured that all conditions for the effective work of foreign missions in Kazakhstan will be provided at the proper level.
