Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with Pamela Harris, President of the International Association for Court Administration (IACA), El.kz reports citing Akorda.
The Head of State stressed that the rule of law and reforming the judicial system are important in building a rule-of-law state.
"We are conducting extremely important reforms aimed at promoting Law and Order in Kazakhstan. The rule of law must be implemented. This is a key factor in the stability and prosperity of the country. I look forward to further cooperation of the International Association with Kazakhstan and our judicial system," Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said.
In her turn, Pamela Harris highly appreciated the legal reforms carried out in Kazakhstan and expressed readiness to deepen cooperation.
The IACA President noted the active participation of representatives of Kazakhstan in the work of the organization and expressed her intention to strengthen cooperation.
During the conversation, the use of digital solutions and artificial intelligence in legal proceedings, as well as the expansion of cooperation between judicial bodies were considered.
