Supervising Deputy Prime Minister and Ministry of Agriculture authorities to visit all regions during sowi

On the instructions of Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, Deputy Prime Minister Serik Zhumangarin, Deputy Prime Minister in charge of agriculture, Minister of Agriculture Aidarbek Saparov, as well as Deputy Ministers of Agriculture during the mass sowing campaign began a tour of the regions, El.kz cites primeminister.kz.

On 15 May, during a working trip to Akmola region, Prime Minister launched a mass sowing campaign, checked the progress of sowing works. On 18 May Minister of Agriculture Aidarbek Saparov left for Karaganda region, where he met with farmers, got acquainted with the pace of sowing season, conducted explanatory work on the tools of state support for agriculture, including direct preferential lending for agricultural producers. In addition, the Minister checked the progress of shipment of fertilisers for the sowing season.

On 19 May, Deputy Prime Minister Serik Zhumangarin left for Turkestan region. He will familiarise himself with the phytosanitary situation on the ground, especially in areas with a risk of spread of locusts, as well as assess the state of crops in the region.

The Minister of Agriculture is in one of the main grain-growing areas of Kazakhstan - Kostanay region, where he will also hold a number of meetings with farmers on key issues of the industry. Aidarbek Saparov will travel to a number of districts to familiarise himself with the sowing campaign and the phytosanitary situation in the region. There is also a high risk of locusts spreading.

Deputy Prime Minister Serik Zhumangarin, Agriculture Minister Aidarbek Saparov and responsible vice-ministers of the department will visit the remaining regions until the end of the mass sowing period.

The focus is on optimal sowing dates, coverage of agricultural producers with preferential lending, explanatory work on 85% guarantee of loans to farmers, the progress of fertiliser shipment and other issues.
