Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Talgat Shaldanbay met with the Mayor of Amman Yousef Al Shawarbeh,El.kz cites MFA.
The collocutors considered further steps to develop the sister city ties between Astana and Amman. They noted that the upcoming 2025 marks the 20th Anniversary of establishing the sister city relationship between the capitals of the two states. In this regard, the issue of combining this event with the mutual holding of the Days of Culture of Kazakhstan and Jordan was considered.
In this context, Yousef Al Shawarbeh expressed his readiness to interact in this direction.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue work on the development of mutually beneficial cooperation.
