The grand opening of the international scout rally "Nomads camp 2024" took place in the Akmola region. Teams from 10 countries came to spend their leisure time in the wild: Azerbaijan, Japan, Russia, Germany, the Netherlands, the Philippines, Pakistan, South Korea, the United States and Sweden, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Culture and Information.
The main idea of the meeting is to unite scouts from different regions of Kazakhstan and other countries under one shanyrak to build an intercultural dialogue among young people.
During the week, the scouts will live in the conditions of nomadic life. First of all, the teams will have to install yurts themselves.
In seven days, they will also master the basics of Kazakh national cuisine, the art of berkutchi and folk crafts.
The program also includes interactive platforms of the participating countries, where each team presents the culture of their homeland.
