The Kazakh airline SCAT plans to open a new route to Egypt in the direction of Shymkent - Cairo, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the ministry.
Flights will be operated twice a week - on Mondays and Wednesdays using Boeing 737-800 and Boeing MAX 8 aircraft.
"It is expected that the opening of flights will contribute to the further development of trade, economic, business and tourism cooperation between the two countries," the press service noted.
