The Minister of Tourism and Sports of Kazakhstan Yerbol Myrzabosynov and the head of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Gennady Golovkin held a meeting with the minister of the General Administration of Sport of China, the President of the Chinese Olympic Committee and the President of International Wushu Federation Gao Zhidan.
The meeting took place as part of the official reception of the organizing committee of the Harbin 2025 Asian Winter Games, El.kz reports citing the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Minister Yerbol Myrzabosynov expressed gratitude for the cooperation in the development of sports between the countries.
"The Kazakh delegation arrived in China from the first days of the competition and thanks the representatives of the organizing committee for the warm welcome, the spectacular opening ceremony and the high level of organization of the Asian Games," the minister said.
The head of the NOC Kazakhstan also stressed the importance of the work of the organizers:
- It is never easy to hold large-scale complex competitions. We thank the organizing committee of the Harbin 2025 Asian Winter Games for their hospitality and well-coordinated work. We have been here since the beginning of the Games and we see how attentively the organizers approach their activities. This is noticeable both in logistics and in the work of volunteers and technical support," said Gennady Golovkin.
