President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev had a telephone conversation with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani,El.kz news agency reports with reference to Akorda.
The Heads of State discussed the expansion of Kazakh-Qatari cooperation in trade, economic and investment spheres, as well as the implementation of the of the Agreement on Establishment of Long-Term Strategic Partnership signed at the beginning of this year.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani expressed a mutual opinion that cooperation between Kazakhstan and Qatar is strategic and mutually beneficial.
The President of Kazakhstan confirmed his participation in the Doha Forum 2024 conference at the invitation of the Emir of Qatar.
The sides also agreed to continue close contacts between the two countries.
