The Head of State visited the new building of the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which will become a scientific and methodological center, El.kz reports.
The modern specialized building includes 24 archives, a laboratory complex, a reading room, an interactive exhibition hall and offices.
The archive fund contains unique documents dating back to 1918, reflecting the key stages of the political history of Kazakhstan, the processes of independence, diplomatic relations, economic reforms and cultural development of the country.
The President also got acquainted with the reconstruction of the Kazakh National University of Arts named after Kulyash Baiseitova
As a result of the modernization, the area of the main building of the university has increased by 10 thousand square meters and now is about 38 thousand square meters.
The renovated university received a number of modern specialized spaces. Among the main innovations is a new concert hall for 1100 seats, which will allow holding large-scale musical and cultural events. In addition, a chamber hall for academic music, as well as art galleries designed for exhibitions of students and invited masters of art appeared in the building.
The visit to these sites emphasizes the state's desire to develop scientific and cultural institutions, as well as to preserve the historical heritage of Kazakhstan.
