Plans for the Development of Bilateral Cooperation were Discussed in Jordan

Ambassador of Kazakhstan Aidarbek Toumatov met with the Director of the Office of the King of Jordan, Jafar Hassan, in the Royal Court of Jordan Administration, El.kz cites MFA.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation and prospects for their development. Special attention was paid to preparing for the 5th Kazakh-Jordanian Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Cultural and Humanitarian Cooperation meeting.

The interlocutors also discussed the situation in the Gaza Strip and the Red Sea area, King Abdullah II's efforts for an immediate ceasefire in the enclave, and the continuous delivery of humanitarian aid.

The Director of the Office of the King commended Kazakhstan's efforts in providing humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people and the support provided by the Kazakh side to the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA). 

The Ambassador also handed over the message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, addressed to the King of Jordan Abdullah II, regarding the issues of expansion of bilateral cooperation.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Ambassador Toumatov informed the interlocutor that he had completed the responsible mission of the head of the Kazakh diplomatic mission in Jordan. In this regard, Hassan thanked Ambassador Toumatov for his work and wished him success in his new position.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to continue close cooperation on all issues discussed and agreed to maintain working contacts.
