Kazakhstan Chess Federation with the support of the general partner Freedom Holding Corp organised the republican festival KazChessFest, El.kz reports.
According to the press service of the Kazakhstan Chess Federation, the event is timed to coincide with the International Chess Day and the 100th anniversary of FIDE.
Such a significant event for the entire chess world, in which about 5.4 mln participants took part, was shown in the French capital, the birthplace of FIDE.
Kazakh chess fans have proved to the whole world their love and strength in this sport.
