Nur-Sultan residents are advised to wear masks in public places

It is recommended to transfer meetings with the participation of more than 10 people to the online format.

The epidemiological situation in the city continues to deteriorate. This was stated by the official representative of the Committee for Sanitary and Epidemiological Control of Kazakhstan, El.kz reports with reference to the BaigeNews.kz.

"The chief sanitary doctor of Nur-Sultan will take the following restrictive measures: transfer of close contact persons with the patient to distance form of work; transfer of employees with absolute contraindications to vaccination against COVID-19 and pregnant women to a distance form of work," the report said.

It is recommended to wear masks when visiting crowded places (shopping and entertainment centers, trading houses, covered markets, concert halls, theaters, cinemas, stadiums and other sports facilities, etc.), as well as when traveling in public transport, exceptof children under the age of 5 years and while eating; to transfer meetings with the participation of more than 10 people to an online format.

"The capital's Department of Sanitary and Epidemiological Control calls on everyone not to visit places of mass gathering of people without extreme need, to fulfill all restrictive recommendations," the speaker emphasized, again urging Kazakhstanis to be vaccinated and re-vaccinated.
