Rae Kwon Chung, Nobel Prize laureate visited museum-reserve "Berel", El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the visit, the guest from South Korea was amazed by the thousand-year history of the Great Steppe, the culture of the Sakas and Turks.
The guests got acquainted with unique exhibits, such as clothes, horse equipment, objects made of wood, saddles, fabrics, wooden dishes, leather and felt products, which belonged to the nomads of the early Iron Age.
The museum-reserve "Berel" is also popular among Kazakhstanis. Since the beginning of the year, it has been visited by almost five thousand tourists.
