Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel hosted a ceremony to present the consular exequatur to Simon Ben Moshe, the new Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan in Netanya, which encompasses the central consular district of Israel, El.kz cites MFA.
During the ceremony, Ambassador Gil Haskel – Chief of State Protocol of Israel, highlighted the significance Israel places on developing bilateral relations with Kazakhstan, recognizing Astana as a key partner in the Central Asian region. He emphasized the critical role of the Honorary Consulate in strengthening and enhancing these bilateral ties.
Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Israel Daulet Yemberdiyev introduced Ben Moshe, a young businessman and owner of Bavarian Motors. He noted that one of the strategic priorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan’s policy, as outlined by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, is to support youth initiatives. Ambassador Yemberdiyev expressed confidence that the Honorary Consulate's activities would foster cooperation in various fields, including tourism, culture, science, education, economy, and trade.
The Ambassador also underscored the importance of protecting the rights and providing support for Kazakhstan’s citizens living abroad, which he identified as a fundamental priority for the Honorary Consulate.
In his address to the attendees, Ben Moshe shared his deep pride in being a native of Kazakhstan and the honor of representing our country in Israel. He recounted the history of his family, detailing how they were relocated to the Kazakh steppes and how the Kazakh people graciously shared their shelter and sustenance with his ancestors.
