New direct flight starts between Kazakhstan and Oman

As part of the execution of the instructions of the Head of State to increase the number of international flights, as well as the implementation of the "open skies" regime, the Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with the aviation authorities of Oman, worked out the issue of opening regular passenger flights of the Omani low-cost airline Salam Air, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the ministry.

Thus, Salam Air plans to start operating direct regular flights on the Route Muscat - Almaty from July 1, 2023 with a frequency of 2 flights per week (Thursday and Sunday) on aircraft of type A-320neo and A-321neo.

The launching of air flights between Kazakhstan and Oman will contribute to the development of trade, economic, tourist and cultural cooperation between the countries.

Salam Air is an Omani low-cost carrier based in Muscat, Oman. She began flying in 2016.

The airline operates international flights to about 20 countries (Czech Republic, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, India, etc.) on 30 routes.

The airline's fleet includes 11 airbus A320neo and A321neo aircraft.
