A modern visitor center for tourists will soon appear in the mountain tract Tuyuk-Su of Almaty, El.kz reports citing the city akimat.
The center will create a comfortable environment for travelers by offering a guest house, a café, a pharmacy, an equipment store and a souvenir shop. Tourists will be able to rent bicycles, attend excursions and be instructed on safe movement along mountain routes.
During the construction of the complex, environmentally friendly materials are used, a waste management system will be introduced and the cleanliness of the territory will be maintained.
The project is aimed at developing ecotourism and increasing the tourist attractiveness of Almaty.
Financing of the construction is carried out within the framework of the Almaty Business-2025 program, and its cost will be 380 million tenge. It is expected that after the launch, the visit center will bring 170 million tenge of annual tax revenues to the state budget.
