Kazakhstani chess player Kazybek Nogerbek claimed bronze at the Festival International des Jeux 2025 held in France,El.kz reports.
The 38th edition of Cannes Chess Open concluded at the Palais des Festivals – Salon des Ambassadeurs, Cannes, France.
GM Iniyan Pa (IND, 2523) emerged as the sole winner of the event with the score of 7.5 points.
GM Kazybek Nogerbek (KAZ, 2514) tied for second place scoring 7 points each, but Aradhya had better tiebreaks to finish second, and Nogerbek came third.
The grand prize is €1800, the 2nd prize is €1200 and €700 for 3rd place.
