Kazakhstanis can stay in Seychelles for up to 30 days without a visa

The entry into force of the agreement on visa-free travel between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Seychelles was announced during a briefing by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Aibek Smadiyarov, El.kz reports.

On January 6, 2024, the Agreement on Mutual Exemption from Visa Requirements between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Seychelles, signed on September 22, 2023 in New York (USA), entered into force.

According to Article 1 of this Agreement, citizens of the two countries are exempt from visa requirements for single or multiple entry, exit, transit, temporary stay in the territory of the state of the other Party. At the same time, the period of stay of citizens on the territory of the two states should not exceed 30 (thirty) calendar days from the date of crossing the state border, and a total of 90 (ninety) calendar days within 180 (one hundred eighty) calendar days, Aibek Smadiyarov said.

The speaker added that if it is necessary for citizens of Kazakhstan to stay in the Seychelles for more than 30 days, it will be necessary to apply for a Seychelles visa of the appropriate category in advance.
