Kazakhstanis affected by floods received 4,790 houses and apartments. 34,068 families were paid a one-time compensation in the amount of 100 MCI. In total, over 12.5 billion tenge was allocated for these purposes, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

To date, 21,800 families have received appropriate compensations totaling 9.9 bln tenge.

At the moment, the survey and assessment of residential buildings and summer cottages has been fully completed in all regions. Kazakhstanis affected by floods were given 4,790 houses and apartments built and purchased.

- 323 new houses have been built and commissioned. In the North Kazakhstan region, 235 families received the keys to housing, 57 in Kostanay, 26 in Aktobe and 5 in Pavlodar region. 315 housing units were provided to residents of Kostanay, 219 - Akmola, 1372 - Atyrau, 447 - Aktobe, 1102 - North Kazakhstan, 1004 - West Kazakhstan, 6 - Karaganda and 2 - Pavlodar regions, the report says.

In addition, work is underway to compensate for damage to the affected business.

- Regional commissions considered and approved 374 applications of SMEs for a total amount of 5.8 billion tenge. The amount of state aid for dead cattle exceeded 2.8 billion tenge, the press service reports.
