The World Congress on Inclusion will be held in Kazakhstan, creating a global platform for discussing achievements in the field of inclusive education, El.kz reports with reference to the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The event will bring together representatives of governments, educators, technology companies and experts to discuss the latest technologies, exchange best practices and strengthen cooperation in the field of inclusion.
Particular attention will be paid to practical solutions, pedagogical innovations and the use of artificial intelligence. This event will be an important step to promote Kazakhstan as a leader in creating an inclusive society.
According to Laura Butabayeva, Director of the Department of Inclusive and Special Education of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the congress will not only attract global attention, but also highlight Kazakhstan's successes in educational reforms, as well as open up opportunities for strategic investments.
In 2024, the number of children with special educational needs in Kazakhstan exceeded 230 thousand. Today, 90% of the country's schools are adapted for inclusive education, and 80% of children receive the necessary psychological and pedagogical support.
