The Autonomous Cluster Fund "Park of Innovative Technologies", operating under the Tech Garden brand, became the winner of the grant program "Consortia of the Production Sector: Centers of Competence". Within the framework of this program, the Center for Engineering Competencies in the Field of Industrial Robotics and Robotics will be organized at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, which can be considered as a model factory of Industry 4.0, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
This important step will make it possible to organize and develop the Center for Engineering Competencies in the Field of Industrial Robotics and Robotics, which will be based in Almaty at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
It provides a unique platform for startups to explore, demonstrate, and test concepts for robotization of technological operations.
"The creation of the Engineering Competence Center for Industrial Robotics and Robotics is a logical continuation of our ongoing work, and we look forward to making it a reality. We are convinced that the center will be a catalyst for startups and strengthen our contribution to the development of digitalization of the industrial sector of Kazakhstan," said Baurzhan Kankin, General Director of the Autonomous Cluster Fund "Park of Innovative Technologies" Tech Garden.
The main goal of the Engineering Competence Center will be to nurture new start-up companies in the field of industrial robotics and robotics. This involves supporting startups in overcoming technical, financial and network barriers, which contributes to their development and successful launch.
The center is scheduled to start operations in the second quarter of 2024.
