Kazakhstan to continue modernization of infrastructure of housing and communal services

Over 450 billion tenge of investments will be directed to the repair of engineering networks in Kazakhstan in 2024, El.kz reports citing primeminister.kz.

On behalf of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan is carrying out a large-scale modernization of the entire infrastructure of housing and communal services of the republic.

Thus, in 2023, 500 billion tenge was allocated for the modernization of infrastructure of housing and communal services , including 327 billion tenge from the budget. As a result, a number of large heat sources and 5.8 thousand km of engineering networks were repaired.

This year, more than 450 billion tenge of investments will be attracted for these purposes and 6.5 thousand km of engineering networks will be repaired.

In general, it is planned to attract about 3 trillion tenge of investments until 2029 to modernize 62 thousand km of engineering networks and reduce wear and tear by 20%. Thus, this will make it possible to bring the utility infrastructure to a standard state.
