Kazakhstan to adapt inclusive policy concept

At an expanded meeting of the board of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the head of the department, Svetlana Zhakupova, said that this year the Concept of Inclusive Policy will be adopted in Kazakhstan, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the department.

"So, in 2024, the Concept of Inclusive Policy will be developed and adopted. Its main goal is to create a society in which every citizen, regardless of individual developmental characteristics, has the opportunity to live a decent life and realize their potential," said Svetlana Zhakupova.

Last year, as part of improving the social protection system, work began to transform the system for the provision of special services, which includes:

• Consolidation of the budget of special service centers;

– transition to per capita financing;

- adoption of new standards and digitization of the activities of social service centers.

In 2023, a pilot project was launched in the Karaganda and East Kazakhstan regions.

The Ministry is working on the issue of monetization of some types of technical means of rehabilitation and services.

In order to monitor and improve the effectiveness of rehabilitation measures, it is planned to develop a Digital Rehabilitation Diary.

Today, with the support of the Ministry of Health, Astana Medical University, digital protocols for social and vocational rehabilitation have been developed, the introduction of which will improve the quality of social services.
