The Kazakh national team won the 3rd place at the 2024 World Weightlifting Championships in Manama, Bahrain, El.kz reports citing Meta-ratings.kz.
Nurgisa Adiletuly (96 kg) and Artyom Antropov (102kg) secured the gold for Kazakhstan. Alexey Churkin won silver in the weight category up to 81 kg.
1st place: DPRK – 9 gold, 5 silver, 2 bronze medals.
2nd place: China – 4 gold, 2 silver, 3 bronze medals.
3rd place: Kazakhstan – 2 gold, 1 silver medal.
4th place: Uzbekistan – 1 gold, 1 bronze medal.
5th place: Armenia – 1 gold, 1 bronze medal.
