Kazakhstan presented its national tourism brand at one of the largest international tourism exhibitions ITB Berlin 2025, El.kz reports citing the Kazakh Ministry of Tourism and Sports.
ITB Berlin attracts over 10,000 exhibitors from 180 countries and more than 160,000 visitors every year, including 113,500 industry professionals.
Kazakhstan has been participating in this event since 1996, demonstrating its tourism market at the global level.
This year, the Kazakh delegation was represented by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, Kazakh Tourism JSC and more than 20 leading travel companies of the country. Within the framework of the exhibition, negotiations were held with the largest international tour operators, world media and strategic partners.
The key areas of work were the launch of advertising campaigns with CNN, Euronews, National Geographic and Wanderlust, as well as the promotion of Kazakhstani tourism programs in the European market. The German company Lernidee Erlebnisreisen showed particular interest in Kazakhstan, considering the possibility of adding new destinations to the routes of the Oriental Silk Road Express tourist train.
The delegation also discussed the expansion of cooperation with the Lastminute.com platform, as well as with the largest European travel associations DRV and ASR.
Kazakhstan's participation in ITB Berlin 2025 will strengthen international ties, increase the country's recognition as a tourist destination and increase the flow of foreign travelers.
