Kazakhstan introduces international standards for training personnel in colleges

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Tamara Duisenova held a meeting with Pearson Regional Director, during which issues of training and certification of Kazakhstani specialists were discussed, El.kz news agency reports with reference to the press service of the Government.

Pearson is one of the world's leading companies in the field of education and the largest certification organization for qualifications in the UK. Through cooperation with international experts in the field of educational programs and assessment, Pearson develops world-class qualification standards. The BTEC certificate, which is included in the company's list, is recognized in more than 70 countries.

The representative of Pearson expressed his readiness to cooperate with the relevant ministries on the implementation of international educational standards and an independent certification system.
