Kazakhstan introduces AI to state services

At a government meeting, CEO at the Government for Citizens State Corporation Arman Kenzhegaliyev announced the introduction of AI in state services,El.kz reports citing the press service of the Government of Kazakhstan.

In particular, he noted the launch of the  voice bot in the Unified Contact Center, which advises on 60 public services and provides 10 types of services, including the issuance of birth certificates, certificates of non criminal record , as well as from psycho-narcological dispensary.

In addition, it is planned to implement a pilot project to unite over  30 contact centers of administrative bodies on the basis of the 1414 contact center. Also, a consultant with AI elements will be implemented in self-service zones in Public Service Centers (PSC).

To simplify the process of registering vehicles, a digital platform of the State Corporation for the execution of documents will be launched. Among the innovations are services for biometric identification and cars history checking . And when passing exams for driver's licenses, it is planned to introduce AR and Computer Vision technologies, as well as revise the procedure for taking exams based on European experience.

"By the end of the year, it is necessary to modernize the e-Government portal with the launch of artificial intelligence elements," Olzhas Bektenov said.
