In Kazakhstan, large-scale implementation of projects for the recycling industrial waste for a total of 330 billion tenge continues, El.kz reports.
As Minister of Industry and Construction Yersaiyn Nagaspayev said at a government meeting, there are 25 initiatives in the country aimed at sustainable management of industrial waste. According to him, eight facilities have already been commissioned, the total investment in which amounted to 133 billion tenge.
By the end of 2025, seven more projects worth about 110 billion tenge are expected to be commissioned.
The Minister stressed that the implementation of such programs not only contributes to the improvement of the environmental situation in the country, but also has a positive impact on industrial efficiency, allowing to extract additional economic benefits from the resources already used.

In the context of increasing attention to environmental issues and rational use of natural resources, Kazakhstan focuses on the introduction of closed-cycle technologies, where waste becomes secondary raw materials for new industries.
