On October 2, the Enactus World Cup 2024 started in Astana, El.kz reports. This is the most important event for students from all over the world, contributing to the development of entrepreneurship among young people and their involvement in the socio-economic life of the country. The event is aimed at supporting small and medium-sized businesses, as well as developing leadership skills among young people.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Minister of Science and Higher Education Sayasat Nurbek, who stressed the importance of the event and urged the participants to be active.
"The Enactus World Cup helps young people develop leadership skills. In the coming days, we will see innovative business projects of students from around the world," the minister said.
As part of the event at the cultural fair, guests were able to get acquainted with the national dishes and traditions of the participating countries, including the USA, Germany, South Korea, Brazil and others. The fair, organized by a team of students from Zhetysu University, aroused great interest among foreign guests.
At the end of the event, the rector of Zhetysu University, Yermek Buribayev, supported the students representing Kazakhstan at the championship and wished them good luck in the competition.
