According to Yermek Marzhikpayev, it is planned to revise the interaction of management institutions in the field of sports.

"A Headquarters for the preparation for the Olympic Games has been created with the involvement of leading industry experts, which will coordinate and ensure effective communications between all the sides," the minister said.

It is planned to apply an individual approach to training for potential athletes to win licenses and medals with the involvement of leading coaches, doctors, massage therapists, psychologists.

"In the medium term, the most priority sports will be determined. Today, 180 sports are being developed in our country, of which only 59 are recognized by the International Olympic Committee," the speaker explained.

These measures are being worked out as part of the amendments to the draft law on physical culture and sports. The issue of appointing head coaches on a competitive basis, as well as raising the status of state coaches by expanding their powers is being discussed.
