Kazakhstan entrepreneurs strengthen cooperation with global New York chamber of commerce

Representatives from the business and diplomatic communities of Kazakhstan and the United States convened at the Global New York Chamber of Commerce (GNYCC),El.kz reports citing Kazakh FM.

The GNYCC provides a platform for in-depth discussions on strengthening bilateral business ties and establishing new avenues for trade and economic cooperation. Key sectors addressed included finance, healthcare, agriculture, and IT, alongside initiatives to boost the export of Kazakhstani agri-industrial products to the U.S. market.

The event featured keynote addresses by S.Umirzakov, President of the GNYCC; R.Tleulin, General Consul of Kazakhstan in New York; R.Sarsembayeva, President of the Association of Business Women of Kazakhstan; and D.Chauhan, Deputy Commissioner for Trade, Investment, and Innovation in the NYC Mayor’s Office for International Affairs.

The event offered an excellent opportunity for the representatives from New York’s financial sector, investors, and business partners to gain insights into the dynamic evolution of Kazakhstan’s economy and its promising potential, including investment projects.

Participants praised the ongoing economic reforms, noting that these measures are charting a new course for both the country and the region, thereby enhancing their appeal to American businesses.

In addition, the agenda addressed key topics related to the development of women’s entrepreneurship and the enhancement of competitiveness among emerging businesswomen leaders. Discussions highlighted initiatives by the Academy of Women’s Entrepreneurship in Astana, aimed at supporting women ready to scale up their enterprises.
