Kazakhstan appoints new commanders in Ground Forces and South Regional Command

The Head of State decreed to relieve Assan Zhussupov of his duties as the the Commander-in-Chief of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, El.kz news agency cites the Akorda press service.

The Head of State decreed to appoint Mereke Kuchekbayev as the Commander-in-Chief of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Kuanyshbek Ushtayev has been relieved of the post of the Commander of Troops of the South Regional Command.

Yerzhan Ibrayev has been appointed as the Commander of Troops of the South Regional Command.
