The new route will pass through the cities of Ust-Kamenogorsk and Ridder, as well as the village of Tuyekta (Russian Federation), with access to the border of Mongolia. The Kazakh section of the proposed new route from the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk to the border with the Russian Federation with a total length of 189 kilometers has already been built (specialists will carry out major and medium repairs on 62 kilometers of the road).

Most of the route passes through the territory of the Russian Federation, if the Russian side agrees to the construction of the road, the route will be optimized to 837 kilometers.

The construction of the new road will significantly reduce travel time, improve transport links between Kazakhstan and Mongolia and will be an important step in strengthening economic and cultural ties.
