Kyrgyz and Kazakh Ministries of Energy Affairs signed a Roadmap for the implementation of projects for the construction of small hydroelectric power plants (HPPs) in Kyrgyzstan, Elkz reports with reference to the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
This agreement represents a significant step toward strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the energy sector and developing the hydropower potential of Kyrgyzstan.
It paves the way to diversify energy resources and improve energy efficiency in Central Asia. The implementation of such projects contributes not only to ensuring a stable energy supply, but also to strengthening economic ties between states.
