Kazakhstan and John Deere expand cooperation

First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar held a meeting with John Deere President for CIS and Central Asia Csaba Leiko, El.kz reports with reference to primeminister.kz.

The meeting centered on the implementation of a joint program for the localization of production, the development of service infrastructure, the creation of jobs and the training of Kazakhstani engineers.

The possibility of turning Kazakhstan into a key logistics center for the supply of equipment and spare parts to the CIS countries was also considered.

The project will be implemented on the basis of a localization center, which is being created in the city of Kostanay.

As part of this initiative, it is planned to employ about 350 qualified specialists in production and service areas. The volume of planned investments is approximately 25 billion tenge. The official distributor of John Deere in Kazakhstan, Eurasia Group, intends to build three new service centers, where modern technologies such as GPS navigation, precision farming and automated control in agriculture will be introduced.

During the meeting, Roman Sklyar noted that the launch of the new production will be a significant step for the machine-building sector and will accelerate the introduction of innovative solutions in the agricultural sector of Kazakhstan.

John Deere is a world leader in the production of agricultural machinery, and the localization of its equipment in the country can play a key role in the further development of the industry.

John Deere products have long been popular among Kazakh farmers and have proven their reliability. In recent years, serious work has been done in Kazakhstan to industrialize the agro-industrial complex and create conditions for the launch of modern industries. Against this background, John Deere is expanding its presence in the country, offering advanced technological solutions for efficient agriculture.
