Kazakhstan and Indonesia strengthen cooperation in field of education

As part of efforts to enhance inter-university cooperation and student exchanges, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan, Serzhan Abdykarimov, delivered a comprehensive lecture to the faculty and students of one of Indonesia’s leading universities, President University, El.kz cites Kazakh FM.

In his speech, the Kazakh diplomat spoke in detail about the current socio-political and socio-economic development of Kazakhstan, the country’s foreign policy, as well as the state and prospects of bilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and Indonesia.

He highlighted the constructive and reform-oriented initiatives of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev aimed at building a prosperous, legal, and just Kazakhstan, focusing on sustainable development and the well-being of Kazakhstani society amid a turbulent global environment.

Among the foreign policy principles and priorities of Kazakhstan, the Ambassador emphasized respectful dialogue, respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity of all states, non-interference, economic diplomacy, nuclear non-proliferation, and interfaith dialogue.

He noted the significant potential for trade, economic, investment, educational, and tourism cooperation between Kazakhstan and Indonesia, and outlined the ongoing work to implement joint plans and projects.

At the end of the lecture, the Ambassador answered numerous questions from the audience.

The event also featured the screening of tourism videos and a photo exhibition showcasing Kazakhstan’s stunning natural landscapes.
