Kazakhstan and Estonia utilizing potential for cooperation in field of education

The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Estonia, Altay Kulginov, held a meeting with Estonia’s Minister of Education, Kristina Kallas, El.kz cites MFA.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed opportunities to deepen bilateral cooperation in the field of education, including the potential for collaboration between universities and schools of the two countries.

The interlocutors also exchanged views on cooperation in the areas of school and pre-school education methodology, teacher training, academic mobility, as well as the use of innovations and new technologies in the educational process, including the integration of artificial intelligence into educational programmes.

Ambassador Kulginov emphasized Kazakhstan’s commitment to further improving the quality of pre-school, secondary, and higher education, and also shared the results of recent visits by 20 Kazakh school principals and heads of several pedagogical universities to Estonia.

For her part, Minister Kallas also emphasized the importance of cooperation with her Kazakh counterparts, highlighting Estonia’s success in achieving top results in the “PISA” international assessments (Estonia ranks first in Europe and sixth globally).

As a result, the parties agreed to organize a series of meetings between the ministries of education of the two countries.
