Deputy Chairman of the Committee of Tourism Industry Nurtas Karipbaev met with the representative of the China Tourism Group Zhang Zheng, El.kz reports citing the press service of the department.
The parties discussed the prospects for the implementation of joint projects within the framework of the initiative to create a cross-border tourist highway between China and Kazakhstan. The parties considered the development of tourism infrastructure, simplification of cross-border procedures, attraction of investments, as well as promotion of joint tourism products in the international market.
Particular attention was paid to plans to form a single tourist space along the new route, including food, accommodation, transport, leisure and cultural exchange facilities. The project aims to strengthen tourism ties between the two countries and expand opportunities for the development of cross-border tourism.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to continue joint work on the development of tourism infrastructure and the promotion of new projects aimed at strengthening ties between Kazakhstan and China in the field of tourism.
