Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek held meeting with Minister of Science and Education of Azerbaijan Emin Amrullayev, El.kz reports.
During the talks, the parties discussed key areas of partnership, including academic mobility, scientific collaboration and joint research. Particular attention was paid to the signed agreement between the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan and the Higher Attestation Commission of Azerbaijan.
The document, signed on March 3 as part of the official visit of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan, is aimed at jointly compiling a list of scientific publications recommended for publication of research papers. It provides for the strengthening of cooperation in the field of scientific publications, the exchange of information on the requirements for journals, as well as initiatives to improve their quality.
The ministers stressed the importance of expanding academic mobility, which will create new opportunities for students, teachers and scientists. The implementation of joint research and innovative projects will strengthen scientific cooperation between the two countries.
As a result of the meeting, specific agreements were reached aimed at further developing bilateral partnership in the field of science and higher education.
