"We have to promptly get down to implementing this national project. At the same time, the issues of determining the locations for 143 schools in the regions have not been solved yet. The work should be accelerated as much as possible: by the end of October to solve the problem on the schools planned to be built in 2023 and by the end of the year on those planned for 2024," Alikhan Smailov said.

In addition, he noted the need to accelerate the digitalization of the educational process.

"In this regard, it is necessary to digitize textbooks and unload children from heavy backpacks. Also, regional akimats should solve the problem of providing students with tablets, in particular, together with the Qazaqstan Halqyna Foundation, to work out the possibility of their purchase for children from rural schools," Alikhan Smailov stressed.

In conclusion, he instructed the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry in cooperation with telecom operators to provide high-quality high-speed Internet to all schools of the country.
